Recently, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Abu Dhabi has disclosed striving plans to improve its economy related to tourism to more than 24 million visitors every year.
During a press conference, this news was declared. This conference was organized by Saood Al Hosani, DCT Abu Dhabi undersecretary, disclosing the growth roadmap of the department for 2023.
The roadmap of 2023 is all set to promote, protect and progress the growing culture and tourism of emirates.
Other announced targets are plans to lift up community consciousness of Emirati heritage by 80% and boost more visits to all the heritage sites of Abu Dhabi to almost four million every year.
It’s a part of an extensive strategic goal that is all set to promote powerful national identity, care for aptitude and build up a healthy and ground-breaking cultural scene.
Also, the department plans to carry on introducing policies that protect the heritage of Abu Dhabi, like its museums and other cultural sites, and to collect visual and performing arts programs to draw varied viewers, both locally as well as from world over.
Following a successful 2022, the plans come in which time it witnessed the emirate to draw over 18 million visitors. It’s a 17% increase from 2021, which DCT – Abu Dhabi has given credits to the innovation, resilience and integration of the culture and tourism sector of Abu Dhabi.
