AirAsia Philippine wins big at PTAA Expo: Best deals award & 14% sales jump

During the 31st Philippine Travel Agencies Association, Inc. (PTAA) Travel Tour Expo, AirAsia Philippines achieved significant success by winning the “Booth With Best Deals” award and concluding the event with a notable 14% increase in ticket sales compared to its performance in 2023.

The airline was distinguished for offering the most competitive fares and baggage options, providing guests with exceptional value. Promotions included a 10% discount on all flights, a 20% discount on baggage, and the special 2.2 Love Takes Flight promotion, featuring PHP22 one-way base fares.

The World’s Leading Budget Airline exceeded its goals thanks to an overwhelming number of international bookings on the inaugural day of the fair, February 2. The subsequent days of the expo, coinciding with the weekend, saw a blend of domestic and international reservations. Moreover, travelers capitalized on early booking discounts supported by February’s reduced Fuel Surcharge at Level 5.

Popular destinations such as Caticlan, Bohol, Puerto Princesa, and sought-after photogenic spots like Osaka, Narita, Taipei, Hong Kong, and Bangkok led the bookings at the PTAA Travel Tour Expo.

“The booking behavior of our guests only suggests that they are preparing for their summer vacations. We are also happy to see them spend time visiting our booth to physically purchase their tickets and scrutinize each deal, which is also smart traveling”, Isla added.

AirAsia Philippines is also excited to encourage its customers to look forward to its summer campaign labeled “LFG” and its inaugural major sale of the year, both set to occur this February.
