Alice Mansergh appointed new CEO of Tourism Ireland

Alice Mansergh has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Designate of Tourism Ireland, succeeding Niall Gibbons.

 Currently the Managing Director of Google Customer Solutions, United Kingdom and Ireland, Mansergh will bring her passion for tourism and her experience in strategic leadership and international marketing to the role.

Having served as a board member of Fáilte Ireland, she understands the vital role of tourism in the economy and communities of Ireland.

 Mansergh is set to assume her position on September 18th, pending ratification by the North South Ministerial Council.

With her extensive digital expertise and understanding of global marketing trends, Mansergh aims to support the recovery of the tourism industry, working closely with industry partners to rebuild overseas tourism to the island of Ireland.

The appointment of Mansergh is seen as an important step for Tourism Ireland during this critical phase of recovery and growth.
