Allan Federer takes helm as Muir Hotel’s new general manager

The Muir Hotel, drawing inspiration from the enduring spirit, culture, and character of Nova Scotia, has officially appointed Allan Federer as its General Manager. With over 35 years of global experience in key leadership positions at luxury establishments, Federer’s most recent role was as the General Manager at the renowned 40-acre Grand Wailea, a Waldorf Astoria Resort in Maui, Hawaii. His extensive career includes general management positions with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in diverse locations such as Moscow, Dubai, Ireland, Singapore, Istanbul, Montreal, and various parts of the United States.

Returning to his Canadian roots, Federer brings a wealth of dedication to providing unparalleled guest experiences. This commitment aligns seamlessly with Muir’s ethos of delivering personalized, one-of-a-kind stays for each guest.
