Almosafer collaborates with Visit Oman

At the World Travel Market, Almosafer, Saudi Arabia’s most holistic travel platform, together with Visit Oman, have signed a partnership agreement to improve leisure tourism to Oman from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates. Almosafer’s consumer business under the partnership will run a 360 marketing campaign all through the New Year to encourage Oman to the customer base of the travel platform in Saudi Arabia, UAE and Kuwait. The campaign will focus on increasing the awareness of Oman as a hotspot destination, stressing the many attractions available in the Sultanate.

On the 11th of this month, Oman is arranging the Grand Final of the World Travel Awards this Friday. It would take place at the Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Muscat.

For Almosafer’s consumer business, Oman is a fast-growing destination with hotel bookings rising tremendously this year. There has been a sharp increase between January to October 2022, in bookings compared to the same period 2021. From Saudi Arabia, hotel bookings have risen by 370% and from the UAE by 432% for the year-to-date, in comparison to the same period last year as bookings from Kuwait have risen by a shocking 1,070%.

Muzammil Ahussain, Executive Vice President of Almosafer, said that Oman is increasingly turning into a popular destination for travellers in the Middle East. They are super excited to be working together with Visit Oman.
