Saudi Arabia’s new flagship carrier, Riyadh Air, has formed a strategic partnership with Almosafer, a Seera Group Holding subsidiary, to accelerate the development of a globally competitive tourism sector in the Kingdom.

This collaboration was announced at the Saudi Tourism Forum in Riyadh, making Almosafer the first travel partner for Riyadh Air in Saudi Arabia, as reported in a press statement.

Muzzammil Ahussain, the CEO of Almosafer, remarked that, as a company prioritizing digital innovation, Almosafer is dedicated to implementing advanced digital solutions to improve travel experiences for customers worldwide.

He also mentioned that the collaboration between Riyadh Air, known for its digital-centric approach, and Almosafer, recognized as the leading travel platform in Saudi Arabia, is focused on enhancing the global tourism appeal of Riyadh and Saudi Arabia. This partnership aims to showcase the rich cultural heritage, stunning natural landscapes, and modern attractions of these destinations.

Riyadh Air is set to launch its inaugural flight in 2025, and in preparation, the airline will collaborate with Almosafer to test and develop technological solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Furthermore, Riyadh Air has ambitions to connect passengers to over 100 destinations by 2030.

Vincent Coste, the Chief Operating Officer of Riyadh Air, expressed that their objective is to transform the future of air travel and to acquaint the world with the Kingdom’s dynamic culture and beautiful natural landscapes. He noted that their partnership with the premier travel agency in the Middle East is aimed at improving their customer services by providing convenient, seamless, and digitally-focused travel experiences.

In March 2023, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, serving as Prime Minister and Chairman of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), announced the creation of Riyadh Air as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the PIF.
