Amora Beach Resort Phuket Transforms into Five-Star Modern Lifestyle Retreat

Amora Beach Resort Phuket has undergone a significant refurbishment, investing THB 500 million (US$14 million) in transforming the resort into a five-star modern lifestyle destination. The 264-key resort, which is situated on a secluded 80-meter strip of Bang Tao Beach, is anticipated to reopen in December of this year with newly constructed amenities.

Amora Beach Resort Phuket is a four-star resort that is owned and run by Amora Hotels & Resorts. After undergoing renovations, it now serves as the group’s flagship property in Thailand.

Chaowaphat Siriphatrawan, Owner/Director of Amora Hotels & Resorts’ expressed that the repositioning of Amora Beach Resort Phuket comes at an opportune moment, aligning with the renewed emphasis of the Tourism Authority of Thailand on luxury tourism and emerging market opportunities, especially on islands like Phuket.

The resort’s General Manager Lars van der Most said “Given the resort’s legacy of providing warm family-oriented service by long-serving staff to regular guests, and bolstered by a line-up of attractive facilities for leisure and MICE, I have no doubt that our brand will resonate well with all our guests.”

The resort has revamped its rooms in a contemporary style, featuring calming neutral tones. Each room offers a private balcony or terrace, offering picturesque views of gardens, sparkling pools, or the beautiful Andaman Sea.

One of the main highlights is the brand-new Nora Beach Club which stands out due to its unique integrated concept, encompassing a restaurant, a bar, and a lounge divided into distinct zones. It features sunken beachfront pods and also hosts live performances by international musicians.

The new Amora Wellness Center beckons with calming spa treatments, restorative massages, or energizing fitness routines when it’s time to go inward and seek holistic health. Both adults and kids will cherish their favourite memories at the resort. The kids will also be entertained and occupied with a jam-packed schedule of beach activities, sports-related lessons, movies, and other things.

As part of its refurbishment, Amora Beach Resort Phuket has given special attention to its wedding and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) facilities.
