Anantara Hotels, Resorts and Spas’ Sri Lankan properties are joining hands with the island country to attract foreign tourists to come back after the reopening their international borders on 21st January 2021. Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort and Anantara Kalutara Resort are the names of the few internationally branded five-star hotels that are government certified as Level 1 ‘Safe and Secure’ to greet foreign tourists as part of the ‘bio-bubble’ approach of the country to kick start tourism.

Anantara Kalutara Resort is prepared to welcome guests from abroad from 6th February 2021, and Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort from 22nd February 2021.

Under the new tourism safety protocols of Sri Lanka, foreign tourists during their initial 14-day bio-bubble period have the flexibility to stay in several of the certified hotels, for instance in a private pool villa at Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort, together with the tropical beach resort of Anantara Kalutara Resort.

Epitome of authentic luxury along the southern coast of Sri Lanka, Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort is encircled by a 22-acre coconut plantation, a golden sandy curved coastline and turquoise ocean that provide stunning seclusion. The airy guest rooms along with private pool villas are specially planned for couples and families. To thrill the guests with a host of leisure and fitness facilities, they have beach yoga and meditation, laps in the double-layer swimming pool, tennis and nature and wildlife activities for families. For more leisurely pace, visit Anantara Spa to submerge in indigenous traditions of wellness and soothing massage.

Secluded between the Indian Ocean and Kalu Ganga River, Anantara Kalutara Resort is special and gives off elegancy, simplicity and great craftsmanship inspired by the late Geoffrey Bawa, most famous architect of Sri Lanka. This resort is situated on the south of Colombo. It’s based one hour drive from Bandaranaike International Airport, and it highlights eye-catching open spaces while large corridors takes one to the magnificently landscaped gardens. Guests can unwind on the renovated beaches done only recently, rejuvenate with Ayurvedic spa therapies or with a Bastien Gonzalez pedicure, or enjoy more adrenaline fuelled activities such as ziplining, abseiling and jet skiing.
