Andaman to see manifold development, says PM Modi

In Port Blair, Andaman, Mr. Narendra Modi, India’s PM, inaugurated the new integrated terminal building of the airport. He said that in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, tourist arrivals from 2014 have increased in Veer Savarkar Airport to almost two times.

He explained that greater number of tourists will bring additional opportunities in terms of employment to the area. The new terminal building will make travel and connectivity seamless.

Also, Modi emphasized the development of the archipelago as an inspirational source for the youth and said that improved communications like connectivity of the mobile, facilities related to health and airport will boost tourism.
