Ant Group extends cooperation with Singapore Tourism Board (STB)

Ant Group has lengthened their cooperation with Singapore Tourism Board (STB) for making cross-border travel to Singapore smoother and expedient. This partnership builds on 2019 collaboration, focusing on driving tourism expansion in Singapore with the help of a series of digital and marketing enterprises in the course of the next two years.

For reinforcing Singapore’s destination appeal among Asian travelers, together with important markets like Malaysia, the Philippines, South Korea and Thailand, Ant Group started the SingapoReimagine with Alipay+ campaign with STB.

As part of SingapoReimagine, STB’s global recovery drive, it presents fresh and state-of-the-art experiences for tourists from these markets, permitting transactions in Singapore via mobile wallets that they are already acquainted with.

This cooperative campaign will also emphasize special offers to users when they travel to Singapore concerning the six Alipay+ partner mobile wallets. Besides, Ant Group will increasingly expand the Passion Made Possible Privileges (PMPP)1, which is a mini programme co-branded with STB for catering to tourists to Singapore – earlier available only on Alipay – to other Alipay+ mobile wallets.

These enterprises will assist Singapore businesses to reach and get involved with a new pool of customers, growing the visibility and consciousness of Singapore’s tourism attractions for visitors before and during their travels to Singapore.

In this cooperation, STB and Alipay+ will also discover channeling digital solutions with local businesses in areas like digitalization of service processes, digital marketing competence and increasing experiences of the customers.
