Armenia made an ambitious step to lift the country up as a major tourist destination by adopting a creative Tourism Development Strategy for the years 2026–2030. The newly accepted plan indicates the country’s intentions to attract tourists from around the globe as well as locals and to improve the country’s image through the development of infrastructure, sustainability and new tourism sectors.
