Arunachal Pradesh Tourism Secretary sets up Yuva Tourism Club

Today, the Tourism Secretary of Arunachal Pradesh, Mr. Swapnil Naik, in a function, opened the Yuva Tourism Club. At the State Food Craft Institute in Itanagar, this event was organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Arunachal Pradesh State Tourism Dept.

The Yuva Tourism Club is an idea introduced by the Ministry of Tourism. It was launched to look after and build up tourism’s young ambassadors. It is set to make these young ambassadors to act as a catalyst for attracting more tourism to India.


The Secretary while talking to media on the occasion said that Yuva Tourism Club is actually a brainchild of PM Narendra Modi. He said that the idea of this club is now at an initial stage. It will instill in the students a fondness for the sector. It includes bringing them close to the culture of the place and other things associated.


Mr. Naik stated that from the 6 th standard, efforts will start and will continue till college level.  Also he said that the whole idea of this effort is to make these club members to act as tourism ambassadors and for the state as well. Also he informed that with over 5000 members in Arunachal Pradesh, 135 Yuva Tourism Clubs are formed.
