At G20 meeting, UAE reiterates commitment sustainable tourism

The Minister of Economy and Head of the Emirates Tourism Council, Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, highlighted the commitment of UAE, under the leadership and vision of its intelligent management, to aggressively hold up the global endeavors while marketing sustainable tourism.

He additionally showcased the dedication of UAE behind contributing to the initiations that promote the formulation of sustainable tourism policies, making the growth and development of international tourism easy.

During his participation in the G20 Tourism Ministers’ Meeting 2023, Al Marri made these statements which was participated by more than 20 decision-makers in the world over from tourism sector recently in Goa, India.

He declared the importance of joint endeavors and practical steps to push the local and world tourism in a way that helps in attaining complete financial and social development in agreement with the goals of the United Nations’ sustainable development.

The G20 Tourism Ministers’ Meeting talked on different topics and agendas related to tourism. One important target was on marketing sustainability in the tourism and tying together the potential presented by digital conversion and smart applications, mainly in the domain of tourism services.

Moreover, the meeting highlighted the plan and polices for developing the tourism and making it super tempting to world talent, mainly through the innovative tourism product development. The participants highlighted the need of developing a helpful environment that holds close small and medium enterprises within tourism.
