Avelo Airlines adds new routes to Glacier National Park

Avelo Airlines is making waves in the aviation industry with its announcement to add four new routes from Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa, marking a significant expansion in its operations. Starting in the first week of May, Avelo plans to double its flight activity, introducing flights to Boise, Idaho; Kalispell, Montana; Salem, Oregon; and Pasco/Tri-Cities, Washington, each serviced twice a week by the Boeing 737.

This expansion is particularly notable for providing an affordable gateway to Glacier National Park via Kalispell, enhancing access to “The Crown of the Continent” with fares starting at $78, and offering competitive prices to the other destinations starting at $62.

The move to establish a new base at STS, shifting from Las Vegas, signifies Avelo Airline’s strategy to capitalize on Santa Rosa and Burbank’s popularity as secondary airports in major metropolitan areas.
