Avelo Airlines celebrated its 100th day of providing nonstop service between Wilmington Airport (ILG) in the Philadelphia region and San Juan Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) in Puerto Rico. This milestone marks Avelo’s inaugural expansion beyond the continental United States.

In its first 100 days operating this route, Avelo served nearly 9,000 passengers on over 60 flights. The airline has also demonstrated impressive reliability, with a 100% completion rate when excluding cancellations due to weather conditions beyond Avelo’s control. This means that Avelo did not cancel any flights between ILG and SJU.
