Avelo Airlines is soon to open its new base

Building on almost three years of helping the Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport in Bay Area, today, Avelo Airlines unveiled the news about its establishing STS as its latest base of operation. From May 1^st, this base will be opened and will help Avelo to increase the everyday low fares, convenience and dependability that it introduced in April 2021 to the region. 

Andrew Levy, Avelo Airlines Founder, Chairman and CEO, said that STS is their kind of hometown airport, which is welcoming and easy. In 2024, Bay Area as the inaugural destination of Avelo’s first flight has a special spot in their history. From that time, over 300,000 customers have seen and experienced Avelo’s everyday low fares, suitability and dependability flying to and from STS. They are very happy about the platform in terms of growth that it offers Avelo, and the meaningful employment and financial influence on their investment to the region.

Initially, Avelo will base two Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft at STS. Avelo supposes to hire as many as 50 Crewmembers at STS when in May the base opens. This comprises Pilots, Aviation Maintenance Technicians and Flight Attendants.
