Awards Ceremony and Gala to recognize women in business travel

GBTA WINiT, a program of the GBTA Foundation devoted toward assisting women move frontward in their careers in the travel segment, organized its yearly Awards Ceremony and Gala to acknowledge the business and individual offerings shaped to make women progress in the business travel sector.

The  WINiT Summit  also took place and it is an event committed to assemble professionals from all quarters to confidently affect the vocations and lives of women in travel-related sectors through panels, significant orators and chances of interaction.

Over 150 attendees congregated for the Awards Ceremony and Gala held at the New York Marriott at
the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City. The event acknowledged the amazing accomplishments made by
the 12 individual and group champions over the preceding year, comprising two new award types.

Patti Huska, Chief People Officer at American Express Global Business Travel, co-organizing this year’s occasion said that GBTA 2023 WINiT Awards provide women with power to overcome obstacles and inspire others to touch new elevations in their occupations. It is significant to exhibit the encouraging effect that a few extraordinary people and establishments can have on women in the business travel sector. Due to their novelties, sacrifices and bravery, there is a happier future lying before.
