Bali tourism not affected by revocation of visa-free entry

The Bali management has recent explained that the tourism sector of this province has not been impacted by the revocation of visa-free entry for visitors coming from 159 nations and the outburst of rabies.


The Governor of Bali, I Wayan Koster, on Monday, stated that they have not seen any issues that have stopped tourist visits in Bali. Bali is completely booked in fact until August. Koster also said that before, some people had forecasted that the revocation of visa-free entry for tourists from 159 countries would cause to a turn down international tourist visit number to Bali.


He also said that he would like to mention that Bali is witnessing a rise in the number of tourist visits. Hence, visa-free revocation, spread of rabies, and other issues flowing in the middle do not damage the tourism industry of Bali in any way, he said.


Between June 1 and 7, as per the governor, a total of 16,246 visitors visited Bali, and the number kept on increasing by four percent every day until June 22.


So, he emphasized that nothing is stopping the visitors from coming to Bali.


In its place, international tourist number has kept on rising, which in return, has absolutely influenced the economy of the province, he added.


Governor Koster additionally said that province’s heads related to Agriculture Office and Health Office are working hand-in-hand to grip the rabies eruption.
