Banyan Tree Dubai unveils exclusive island retreat living on Bluewaters Dubai in group’s inaugural Dubai Debut

Banyan Tree, a distinguished name in the global hospitality industry, joyfully announces the inauguration of its inaugural establishment in Dubai. Commencing operations on December 2, 2023, coinciding with the UAE’s 52nd Union Day, Banyan Tree Dubai is an all-encompassing destination situated on the shoreline of Bluewaters Dubai—a dynamic lifestyle hub developed by Dubai Holding, featuring a blend of residential, retail, hospitality, and entertainment offerings.

Characterized by a modern and streamlined design, the property seamlessly integrates with the gleaming Dubai Marina backdrop. Spanning a 500-meter stretch of pristine private beach, Banyan Tree Dubai offers unrivaled views of the Arabian Gulf and the iconic Ain Dubai observation wheel, along with three temperature-controlled swimming pools.

Peter Hechler, Senior Vice President, Head – Regional Operations (Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa) of Banyan Tree Group, expressed excitement about the Dubai debut, highlighting the central location’s appeal to leisure and business travelers, as well as couples seeking iconic backdrops for weddings and honeymoons.

The 178 rejuvenated rooms at Banyan Tree Dubai, conceptualized by BLINK Design, embrace a touch of soft minimalism. Ranging from 54 sqm to 315 sqm, these accommodations exude warmth and organic elements, creating a welcoming and livable atmosphere. The resort includes a newly completed four-bedroom villa with 4,465 sqm of luxury space, featuring its own pool and private beach access.

Banyan Tree Residences Dubai offers 96 fully furnished private apartments in various configurations, providing a strategic addition to the group’s global collection of branded residences. With a focus on combining the comforts of a stylish home with five-star hotel amenities, these apartments cater to small pets and offer residents a dedicated 24-hour concierge, valet, maintenance, and security.

The resort’s seven dining experiences range from post-beach casual dining to sophisticated destination venues crafted by world-class chefs. Meeting and event planners can choose from state-of-the-art facilities, including meeting rooms, a business center, and a spacious 750 sqm ballroom. Outdoor event spaces offer stunning views of the gulf and intimate garden settings.

Bluewaters Dubai provides convenient connectivity to the mainland, allowing guests to explore Jumeirah Beach Residences and Dubai Marina. As part of a strategic partnership between Accor and Banyan Tree Group, Banyan Tree Dubai will be co-operated by Banyan Tree Group and Ennismore. This collaboration follows a similar operational model applied in Banyan Tree Doha at La Cigale Mushaireb, Qatar, and Banyan Tree AlUla, Saudi Arabia. The opening of Banyan Tree is a result of a landmark deal between Ennismore and Dubai Holding to introduce a unique luxury lifestyle experience in the emirate, signed in September of this year.
