BermudAir expands its network, adding Baltimore and Orlando, offering direct flights to Bermuda and special fares to celebrate the new routes.

BermudAir, the leading boutique airline of Bermuda, has excitingly declared its network expansion with the inclusion of Baltimore and Orlando, elevating its service to a total of five essential cities along the U.S. East Coast. This development enhances the airline’s Bermuda connectivity. Starting from March 18, direct flights will be available from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) to Bermuda, with a brief average flight duration of around two hours. Additionally, flights from Orlando International Airport (MCO) will commence on March 26. In celebration of these new destinations, BermudAir is offering promotional fares across all routes until January 31, 2024. These special prices start at $99 for one-way tickets from the U.S. and $199 from Bermuda, inclusive of taxes.

BermudAir, recognized as the first Bermuda-based airline to provide year-round service, continues to innovate in travel, seamlessly linking Bermuda with the U.S. East Coast and South Florida. The Baltimore service strategically opens doors to the dynamic regions of Baltimore, Northern Virginia, and Washington, D.C. This expansion not only boosts mutual travel but also consolidates BermudAir’s foothold in the vital East Coast sector, offering enhanced connections and convenience. The addition of Orlando service further strengthens BermudAir’s presence in Florida, complementing its existing routes in Fort Lauderdale, and fostering more direct flights and connectivity between Florida and Bermuda.

“The addition of Baltimore and Orlando to our network is a clear indicator of BermudAir’s ongoing growth,” said Adam Scott, Founder and CEO of BermudAir. “This expansion demonstrates our dedication to meeting our passengers’ needs and strategically enhancing our service offerings, based on continual market feedback and evaluation. It’s a significant step that elevates BermudAir to new levels of service and reach.”

“We are thrilled to welcome BermudAir and this premier service to the island paradise of Bermuda,”
said Ricky Smith, Executive Director/CEO of BWI Marshall Airport. “BermudAir is growing quickly and
creating new opportunities for tourism and economic development. Our customers will appreciate
the airline’s quick and easy access to Bermuda’s natural beauty, culture, and history.”
“Our region’s continued growth depends upon the investment and vision of airlines like BermudAir,”
said Kevin J. Thibault, Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, which
operates Orlando International. “Orlando International Airport is a premier multimodal facility and
this new air service helps us to deliver more choices to passengers.”

BermudAir plans to utilize Embraer E175 aircraft for these routes, featuring a dual-class configuration with 14 business class seats and 52 economy class seats. The airline is dedicated to providing a premium in-flight experience, which includes excellent customer service, complimentary food and beverages (including alcohol), and exceptional comfort. The business class service will offer additional benefits such as increased flexibility in booking, higher baggage allowances, and more favorable fare conditions for changes and cancellations.

With Baltimore and Orlando joining its network, BermudAir now connects Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), Westchester County Airport (HPN), Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), and Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Bermuda’s L.F. Wade International Airport (BDA).
