Bluewater Aviation doubles hangar space to 40,000 sq Ft at BKV

Bluewater Aviation is excited to announce the significant expansion of its premier community/shared hangar at the Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport (BKV), now boasting 40,000 square feet of space. This expansion marks the beginning of the aviation company’s ambitious plan to offer over 100,000 square feet of hangar space by the end of 2026. The newly expanded facility includes a 6,000-square-foot state-of-the-art office space and a 4,500-square-foot Fixed Base Operator (FBO) terminal, setting a new standard for aviation services in the region.

Anthony Santarsiero, President of Bluewater Aviation, expressed enthusiasm over the rapid demand for shared hangar space, noting that the initial 20,000 square feet were quickly reserved within a month of opening reservations. This surge in demand spans various aircraft categories, with a notable increase in interest from operators of mid-size to ultra-long-range jets. Santarsiero highlighted the airport’s capability to accommodate large aircraft, including military, commercial, and general aviation, as evidenced by a recent MD-10 landing for maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) work.

Bluewater Aviation aims to address the challenges of congested airspace and subpar customer service that pilots and owners have experienced in the region. Located strategically near both the Cabot Citrus Farms golf community and the upcoming Moffitt Cancer Center development, the company is poised to serve an elite clientele seeking unparalleled travel and accommodation options.
