Brexit is intimidating the fall down of an exclusive project of Ireland-Wales tourism which is all set to emphasize secret gems in Ireland as well as Wales.

In 2019, this Celtic Routes project was launched for the first time, heading to a wide variety of thriving tourism efforts between Waterford, Wexford, Wicklow and Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion in Wales. But, after Britain exited the EU, no longer the said project qualified for financial support formerly offered by the European Territorial Cooperation Program.

It has been cautioned that at the end of August, the methods will close if not some optional funding are supplied. In the project till now, around €4m has been invested.

The project is geared up to convert less famous areas from transit zones to the latest touring sites by giving confidence to the people to explore them rightly. The main target of Celtic Routes was to change probable visitors transiting through the south-east and turn them into staying tourists by developing links with Wales.

Around 300 million people world over with the help of different formats have read information on Celtic Routes between 2019 and the end of March Organisers said that the ending of the effort would be tourism’s harsh drive in the south-east which is still reviving from the shutdown caused by covid.
