After thorough deliberation across all relevant departments, Brussels Airlines has made the decision to recommence flights to Tel Aviv starting March 24, 2024, implementing a comprehensive set of precautionary measures.Initially, the Belgian airline will operate three flights per week, departing from Brussels on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Our booking system has been promptly updated to reflect this schedule.
These flights are scheduled to continue until the end of April, with potential adjustments to frequencies and timings anticipated in collaboration with all carriers within the Lufthansa Group at a later stage.
Ensuring the safety of both our crew and passengers remains our utmost priority. Brussels Airlines will maintain vigilant monitoring of the regional situation and maintain close communication with relevant authorities. Should circumstances evolve, appropriate actions will be taken accordingly
After Lufthansa Group’s security department approved the resumption of flights to Tel Aviv in December 2023, Lufthansa, Austrian, and Swiss Airlines reinstated their services on January 8, 2024. However, Brussels Airlines opted not to resume flights at that time due to various factors, including significantly low seat load factors. Now, with booking numbers gradually improving and following meticulous evaluation alongside a specific set of precautionary measures, Brussels Airlines has made the decision to recommence operations with three weekly flights.
