Carnival Cruise Line’s 2 nd $1M Slot Tournament comes back to sea

Carnival Cruise Line’s 2 nd $1M Slot Tournament came back to sea with 1,691 visitors contending this week on-board Carnival Celebration, outdoing the event of 2022 as the biggest-ever casino contest in the history of the cruise line. The topmost 100 performers in the contest received awards. A majestic award of $500,000 was given to the winner of the competition, together with a reward of $150,000 and $50,000 for the 2 nd and 3 rd place, respectively.

Jonathan Lask, Carnival’s vice president of CRM and performance marketing said that Carnival has an
account as a frontrunner of the segment with their casinos and their $1M Slot Tournament. He said that
their on-board casinos carry amusement and enthusiasm to their Carnival Players Club fellows on all
their ships, and this week proved to be wonderful to bring many of those respected visitors altogether and intensify the keenness.

Building on the impetus of another fruitful $1M Slot Tournament, Carnival is now preparing to increase the excitement in 2024. Two extra million-dollar slot contests would be happening on two Carnival ships
next year – with the first on Carnival Jubilee, the convoy’s next new Excel-class ship, leaving Galveston,
Texas on May 18 next year. The second contest for 2024 would be happening on Mardi Gras, leaving Port Canaveral on November 2 next year. Two contests will be declared for 2025 at the same time.
