Carnival Firenze Gears Up for Debut with Panamanian Flag Ceremony in Spain

In preparation for its highly anticipated “Carnival Fun Italian Style” launch, the Carnival Firenze team in Cadiz, Spain, hoisted the flag of Panama, signaling the vessel’s official registration under the Panamanian flag. This new addition brings the total to 27 in Carnival’s impressive fleet, aligning with its sister ships also under Panama’s registry.

Following its refurbishment in Cadiz, the Carnival Firenze is set to set sail for California on March 22. Anchoring at the Carnival homeport in Long Beach, it will begin offering a variety of cruising experiences starting April 25, 2024, operating throughout the year. As the second vessel to showcase the “Carnival Fun Italian Style” concept, the Carnival Firenze draws inspiration from the enchanting city of Florence, Italy. The ship promises a thoroughly engaging atmosphere from the front to the back, infused with Carnival’s trademark excitement.
