Carnival unveils celebration key: A spectacular experience with five unique zones to amplify the fun

Carnival Cruise Line has unveiled additional details about Celebration Key™, the much-anticipated new cruise destination gaining widespread attention. Situated on Grand Bahama, this exclusive retreat is meticulously designed to provide guests with a personalized paradise experience.

In homage to the natural beauty and rich culture of Grand Bahama, Celebration Key encompasses five distinct areas known as portals. These portals, each offering a unique experience, include the Caribbean’s largest freshwater lagoons, a stunning white sand beach, an exclusive adult-only private club, family-friendly spaces for recreation, and an array of dining venues and libation stations – all within one awe-inspiring location. Featuring prominently on over 500 cruise itineraries currently available for purchase across 18 Carnival ships departing from nine U.S. homeports, Celebration Key promises an unforgettable experience.

Details on the Five Portals:

1. Welcome Portal:

• Guests are welcomed into the destination’s beauty, greeted with information to guide them towards their preferred form of entertainment.
• Live music sets the tone, with a colossal sandcastle serving as a fun-in-the-sun symbol at the heart of Celebration Key.

• Tailored for families with children of all ages, this portal offers a diverse range of activities.
• From swimming in expansive freshwater lagoons to racing waterslides and beachside lounging, there’s something for everyone.
• Numerous dining options, including diverse cuisines, cater to varying taste buds.

1. Adult-Friendly Portal:

• Geared towards adults seeking relaxation, this portal offers options like lounging on the beach or enjoying the freshwater lagoon.
• A large swim-up bar and energizing DJ-curated vibes complement the experience.
• Various cabana rentals and dining venues, including local Bahamian flavors, add to the allure.

1. Private Club Portal:

• A premium, adults-only experience featuring an infinity pool with breathtaking views of Bahamian waters.
• Exclusive beach access and elevated dining experiences create a luxurious retreat.

Carnival Cruise Line President Christine Duffy stated, “No one does FUN like Carnival,” emphasizing the unique and diverse offerings of Celebration Key that celebrate both the destination and Grand Bahama’s beauty.

Carnival ships will dock at an adjacent cruise pier, providing direct access to Celebration Key. The destination includes an events pavilion dedicated to hosting weddings, vow renewals, and other special celebrations.

As the project unfolds, Carnival plans to release more details for each portal, with future expansion plans, including a waterpark and zipline course, ensuring guests have compelling reasons to return for years to come.
