Carnival Jubilee, which is all prepared to make an introduction in Texas this December 2023, has effectively completed a nautical achievement as the first Carnival Cruise Line ship to complete a transportation of the river Ems in northwest Germany. The first Carnival ship was constructed at Meyer Werft, Carnival Jubilee was effectively moved from Papenburg, the German shipyard to Eemshaven, Netherlands before its forthcoming sea trials.

To finish the conveyance, a well-versed team at the helm of Carnival Jubilee navigated the Ems backwards toward the North Sea, leaving Papenburg early Monday morning with the help of two tugboats with maneuverability. A group of Ems River pilots, the Pilot Brotherhood of Emden, helped in conducting the transfer. The pilots are very well-trained and they make use of advanced technology, like a realistic simulation of the river, to make the passage.

The ship was prudently directed through slim channels and under numerous bridges before it actually entered in Eemshaven in the early Tuesday morning, before the initial round of sea trials that begin on Nov. 5. Carnival Jubilee will be led and operated at the time of the sea trials by a full contingent of technicians, officers, and qualified engineers on board to methodically test its mechanical, technical, and navigational systems.
