International Women’s Day

Ronil Goa, the premier JdV by Hyatt establishment in India and Southwest Asia, marked International Women’s Day with both colleagues and guests, embracing the #WomenAtHyatt initiative to foster #InspireInclusion. This celebration of dedication will persist throughout the year, building upon numerous initiatives implemented since the hotel’s inauguration in December 2023.

In partnership with Svay Goa, under the #WomenAtHyatt Diversity Business Resource Group, Ronil Goa orchestrated a vibrant International Women’s Day event brimming with engaging sessions, meaningful interactions, and enriching experiences tailored for dynamic women.

The day commenced with a reflection on Hyatt’s Commitment to Change Starts Here, followed by introductions to our female-led partners and vendors. Participants then immersed themselves in a Sound Healing session led by Mumbai’s esteemed sound therapist, Smriti Makharia. Sayli Nageshkar, a professional makeup artist from Goa, then provided insights on grooming and self-care. Lunch featured a menu crafted around the favorite dishes of our female colleagues, lovingly prepared by our talented chefs.

The Svay Goa team facilitated personalized sessions focusing on Mental Wellbeing led by Neha Naik Khaunte, a Counseling Psychologist; Eating Well & Eating Right by Nikisha Shetye, a Clinical Nutritionist specializing in Weight Loss & Diabetes Management; and a session with Prutha Pai Panandiker, an advanced Certified Lactation Professional & Certified Prenatal Yoga Teacher. Colleagues also created their own ‘Vision Board,’ a tool to visualize their aspirations and success.

The day culminated with a movie screening, accompanied by cocktails and canapés, as colleagues received sustainable tote bags filled with thoughtful surprises to cherish.

On March 8th, 2024, we honored the Pink Force of Goa Police, a dedicated unit committed to enhancing the safety and security of women and children in the state. Hosting a special International Women’s Day lunch at Ronil Bistro, we expressed gratitude by presenting weatherproof bags and mementos, acknowledging their tireless efforts and dedication.

Ronil Goa remains steadfast in its commitment to support and promote women-led businesses and organizations, reflecting this ethos across all aspects of the hotel’s operations.
