Thailand‘s premier property developer, Central Pattana plc, renowned for its chain of 39 Central shopping malls across the nation, has joined forces with a consortium of key public and private entities, including the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the Royal Thai Police, and the Ratchaprasong Square Trade Association (RSTA). Together, they orchestrated an unparalleled global countdown spectacle, solidifying its status as the ultimate countdown destination worldwide for over 20 years, marked by a momentous gathering of hundreds of thousands to welcome 2024.

As we transitioned into 2024, attendees were enthralled by an awe-inspiring 180-degree display of Futuristic Fireworks, a blend of actual pyrotechnics and artistic visuals on the Panoramix screen. This venue stood out as the sole platform hosting a diverse mix of K-Pop, C-Pop, and T-Pop talents, featuring performances by K-Pop’s Youngjae of Got 7, C-Pop’s Patrick Nattawat, and leading T-Pop artists such as PP Krit, Billkin Putthipong, BOWKYLION, along with a collaborative performance by Nont Thanont and Ink Warunthorn, culminating in a grand 15-minute countdown to 2024 showcased on screens across Bangkok.

CentralwOrld Bangkok’s COuntdOwn 2024 event has become the most celebrated countdown site in Thailand’s capital for over two decades. Boasting collaborations since 2000 and located centrally with easy transportation access and the spacious Ratchaprasong area accommodating over 250,000 people, Central World has become the quintessential spot to celebrate the New Year.

This year marked yet another global celebration of the New Year at centralwOrld, with the countdown event being broadcasted on the screens in Times Square, New York, for the fifth consecutive year. These spectacular, memorable moments ensure that the centralwOrld Bangkok COuntdOwn 2024 is not only a hallmark of Thailand’s New Year festivities but also aligns it with world-renowned countdown landmarks.
