Renowned Michelin-starred chefs Alan Taudon from France and Dani García from Spain will team up for two exclusive dinners on April 17 and 18, 2024. Hosted at the chic Dani Brasserie in the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, known for its vibrant and relaxed atmosphere reflecting the city’s essence, these events promise a unique gastronomic experience. To blend the flavors of Paris’s L’Orangerie, elements from this renowned venue at Four Seasons Hotel George V will be incorporated into the bar area for a harmonious atmosphere.

Chef Taudon, recently awarded a second Michelin star for his culinary mastery at L’Orangerie—one of the acclaimed three Michelin-starred restaurants at Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris—is celebrated for his daring and inventive approach that pays homage to the heart of French cuisine in each dish. His gourmet creations spotlight vegetables, dairy, and shellfish, cleverly sidestepping meat while showcasing his expertise through sauces that reimagine classic culinary principles with ingenuity. The intimate and inviting setting of L’Orangerie provides an ideal canvas for Chef Taudon’s culinary artistry.

Also acclaimed with two Michelin stars, Chef García embodies the quintessence of Andalusian cuisine. Through Dani Brasserie at Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, he celebrates his deep connection to his homeland by seamlessly merging the finest flavors of southern Spain with a cosmopolitan twist.

In collaboration, they will curate a captivating 10-course dinner sure to captivate locals and culinary enthusiasts alike.

Michelin-starred chef Dani García adds: “I think the most beautiful thing about my profession is being able to share. The most special moments I have experienced in the kitchen have been working ‘four hands’ with great colleagues from whom I can keep learning what I love most in this world. In this case, I feel lucky, honoured and privileged to welcome Chef Alan Taudon to Dani Brasserie, my home. He just got his second MichelinsStar and I am looking forward to working hand in hand with him. For me, it will be a great pleasure to show madrileños a little bit of the roots of each of us. I think it will be a very special moment in my career. “

For this exclusive two-night affair, both chefs have meticulously designed a menu showcasing their signature dishes. The culinary journey begins with Alan Taudon’s renowned roasted char-grilled onions paired with a salad of delicate smoked leaves, followed by Dani García’s interpretation of baby shrimp from Motril, yuzu kosho, and hazelnut butter. The gastronomic adventure continues with a series of starters by Chef Taudon, including sea urchin and chestnuts with egg yolk glaze, wild asparagus with cloudy rice fermentation and iodised kiwi, and sweetcorn royale with vichyssoise, smoked leek cream, and king crab topped with caviar—an esteemed creation of Chef García.

As the main course unfolds, each chef presents a signature dish. Chef Taudon offers his iconic grilled sea bream accompanied by vegetable tagliatelle and jalapeño sauce, while Chef García presents roasted duck in anolini jus infused with fresh herbs. To conclude this culinary voyage, guests are treated to a selection of desserts, featuring basil and pear curd with vanilla alongside a chocolate whisky creation.
