Cheval Maison – The Palm Dubai welcomes new General Manager

Cheval Collection has welcomed John Raffoul as the General Manager for Cheval Maison – The Palm Dubai. Raffoul joins the team during a period of exceptional performance for the property, which has exceeded expectations since its opening in April of this year.

John Raffoul is set to become the General Manager at Cheval Maison – The Palm Dubai at the end of November, transitioning from his role as Cluster General Manager at Premier Inn Group. His successful tenure at Premier Inn Group included overseeing 889 rooms in both Ibn Battuta Mall and Dragon Mart, where he surpassed financial targets, leading to increased revenue and profits. Raffoul’s achievements were acknowledged with his inclusion in the Top 100 General Managers Power list for 2022 and 2023. Additionally, he was shortlisted for the Hotelier Middle East Top 10 General Managers (Midscale) 2023 award.

Before serving as Cluster General Manager at Premier Inn Group, John Raffoul played a key role in the rebranding and renovation of Mercure Dubai Barsha Heights Suites & Apartments. Earlier in his career, he held positions as Director of Sales and Marketing at Pullman City Center Hotels and Residences and Director of Sales at Sofitel The Palm.

John Philipson, COO of Cheval Collection, expressed excitement about the appointment of John Raffoul as the General Manager of Cheval Maison – The Palm Dubai, citing his exceptional credentials and expertise. Cheval Maison – The Palm Dubai, the inaugural international property of Cheval Collection, comprises 131 modern apartments with one to three bedrooms, each equipped with fully functional kitchens. In a move to foster a vibrant connection with the local community, Cheval Collection entered into an agreement with Black Coffee by Café Younes to manage the restaurant space at the property, welcoming both guests and non-residents.
