The CNS Partnership Conference, set to occur in Dallas Fort Worth from April 14-16, 2024, is themed “Resilience Through Agility: Partnering for a Changing World”. This event stands as the air cargo industry’s leading networking gathering in the United States, attracting about 700 participants from every sector of the air cargo supply chain to engage in meaningful discussions.

The air cargo sector is a significant contributor to the global socio-economic landscape, playing an essential role in navigating exceptional challenges. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, it was pivotal in transporting medical supplies and vaccines to needed areas. Furthermore, in times of natural disasters like earthquakes and floods, air cargo has been indispensable in delivering humanitarian aid. Presently, it serves as a crucial alternative amidst geopolitical tensions affecting the Red Sea shipping channels.

Air freight is fundamental to the continuity of the global economy, with the 58 million tonnes of goods flown in 2023 representing about 35% of the value of international trade. This sector not only sustains employment worldwide but also aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, notably through its contributions to poverty reduction and the promotion of sustained, inclusive economic growth.

Air cargo volumes have successfully returned to their pre-pandemic levels, presenting the challenge of maintaining growth that is efficient, safe, and environmentally sustainable.
