Condor, the renowned airline known for its exceptional leisure travel experience, has announced its decision to operate from the new world-class Terminal 6 (T6) at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), marking a significant milestone in the airport’s extensive $19 billion redevelopment project. Condor’s selection of T6 places it alongside an elite roster of global airlines, including Air Canada, Aer Lingus, ANA, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Cathay Pacific, JetBlue, Lufthansa, Norse Atlantic Airways, and SWISS, who have all chosen T6 as their future operational base.
The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey’s ambitious plan to transform JFK into a state-of-the-art travel hub includes the creation of two brand-new terminals, the modernization of two existing ones, a new ground transportation center, and an overhaul of the airport’s roadways to enhance the passenger experience.
Condor has been operating from JFK since 2014, offering year-round flights from Terminal 7 to Frankfurt, Germany, using its cutting-edge Airbus A330neo aircraft. These aircraft, recognized for being the quietest in the sky, are fuel-efficient and feature Condor’s premium business class and premium economy cabins, offering a luxurious travel experience for all passengers.
As part of the new terminal experience, passengers will enjoy T6’s digital-first approach, designed to deliver a seamless and efficient journey. The terminal boasts a boutique guest experience with an average walk time of less than 5 minutes from the TSA security checkpoint to any gate. With 100,000 square feet dedicated to New York City-inspired shopping, dining, lounges, and amenities, T6 promises an exceptional travel environment. Sustainable features, curated public art, and a commitment to premium guest services ensure that travelers will enjoy both comfort and convenience at every turn.

Condor’s move to T6 is not just about expanding its footprint at JFK, but also aligns with the airline’s mission to offer unparalleled service to its passengers. The new terminal will further enhance its operational efficiency and ability to provide the high-quality travel experience that Condor is known for.
With these exciting developments, JFK is set to solidify its place as a premier international gateway, providing travelers with world-class amenities and an extraordinary flying experience.
“Condor has been an excellent partner at T7, and we are thrilled that they’ve put their trust in our JMP team once again by joining us in the new T6,” said Steve Thody, CEO, JFK Millennium Partners. “We look forward to offering Condor passengers our own curated guest experience when our first gates open in early 2026,” Thody added.
“As New York/JFK is one of our most important North American gateways, we are extremely thrilled to be moving into the new, state-of-the art T6,” said Mikko Turtiainen, director of sales, The Americas, Condor. “The boutique, curated guest experience of the new terminal is right in line with Condor’s brand DNA. Our eye-catching striped branding is representative of the diversity of destinations and guests we serve as well as our crew, and we are all about personalizing the guest experience. Condor passengers will also enjoy seamless connections to our partner JetBlue’s Terminal 5 operations, located just a short walk from T6 gates.”
