Cruiseline.com announces the winners of the 2024 member Choice Awards

Cruiseline.com is thrilled to reveal the winners of the 2024 Member Choice Awards, which are based on review rankings submitted by our community members who sailed on cruises from January through December of 2023. This marks the ninth edition of the Member Choice Awards presented by Cruiseline.com.

Awards have been distributed across various categories to recognize the top-performing cruise lines and cruise ships from the previous year. This year, we have introduced a new category – Best Cruise Ports. Awards in this category have been bestowed upon the highest-ranked cruise ports overall, as well as the best cruise line private destinations.

The 2024 Member Choice Awards offer valuable insights into how cruise lines and ships performed under typical cruise operations for the year. With ships sailing to destinations worldwide and operating at full capacity, and the introduction of several highly anticipated new cruise ships for passenger service, the industry saw a return to the high seas.

Royal Caribbean dominated the 2024 Member Choice Awards, securing ten best-in-category recognitions. Also achieving high rankings was Celebrity Cruises, which received three awards. Other notable cruise lines that received best-in-category awards this past year include Virgin Voyages, Seabourn, Viking River Cruises, and Windstar Cruises.

• Best Mainstream Cruise Line: Royal Caribbean
• Best Premium Cruise Line: Windstar Cruises
• Best Luxury Cruise Line: Seabourn
  -Viking River Cruises is named the Best River Cruise Line.

Cruise Line: Onboard Experience

• Best Cruise Line – Food and Dining: Celebrity Cruises
• Best Cruise Line for Onboard Activities/Entertainment: Royal Caribbean
• Royal Caribbean wins the award for Best Cruise Line for Service and Staff.
• Best Cruise Line for Staterooms: Celebrity Cruises

Cruise Ship: Overall

• Best Overall Cruise Ship: Allure of the Seas
• Best New Cruise Ship of 2024: Resilient Lady

Cruise Ship: Onboard Experience

-Odyssey of the Seas is awarded the Best Cruise Ship for Food and Dining.

• Best Cruise Ship for Onboard Activities/Entertainment: Allure of the Seas
• Best Cruise Ship for Service and Staff: Oasis of the Seas
• Best Cruise Ship for Staterooms: Odyssey of the Seas

Best Cruise Ports

• Best Cruise Port: Skagway, Alaska
• Best Cruise Line Private Destination: Castaway Cay, Bahamas
