Delta boosts Masters Tournament access, nearly doubling seats to Augusta from April 7-15 with new routes and over 1,300 daily seats.

Delta Airlines is poised to significantly enhance the experience of attendees at this year’s Masters Tournament. The airline is nearly doubling its seating availability to Augusta Regional Airport (AGS) from April 7 to April 15, offering a vast schedule that includes nine routes, six of which are new, and provides over 1,300 seats daily to AGS. This marks a notable increase compared to last year’s capacity.

The enhanced schedule introduces new flights from Washington, D.C., Boston, and Austin, in response to the high demand for direct flights to the Masters. These are in addition to existing routes from New York-JFK, Palm Beach, and Orlando. Delta will also be reinstating flights from LaGuardia and Detroit, while increasing services from Atlanta.

“Delta will provide golf enthusiasts worldwide with increased access to the game with over 200 convenient one-stop connections to Augusta through our leading hubs in Atlanta, Detroit, Boston and now notably via JFK where Delta operates a robust global network,” said Joe Esposito, Delta’s S.V.P. of Network Planning. “And as an official partner again this year, customers can expect a Delta experience that goes beyond the flight, from takeoff to the greens in Augusta.”

The complete flying schedule for the Masters week in 2024 includes:

Delta ensures that golf enthusiasts can comfortably and confidently embark on their journey to the Masters. The airline, recently acknowledged by Cirium for its punctuality, extends its focus on customer relaxation. Many of its aircraft are equipped with live satellite TV, allowing global passengers to watch the tournament mid-flight across the U.S.

Moreover, passengers on flights with fast, complimentary Wi-Fi can access their subscription services for uninterrupted streaming of the Masters Tournament. This service is available to SkyMiles Members traveling on more than 630 domestic mainline aircraft.

For those in First Class on mainline flights, Delta offers a selection of premium wines, including Pebble Lane Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, served in 750ml bottles, a popular choice among world passengers.
