Directorate of Kashmir Tourism hosts adventure event

Today, the Directorate of Tourism, Kashmir, arranged a two-day multi- activity event with the name – ‘South Kashmir Adventure’. It was targeted to encourage adventure tourism and awareness in terms of environment in the region. Today, the event was inaugurated at beautiful Kokernag in South Kashmir.

From different regions of the valley participants showed their extraordinary enthusiasm and support in engaging in different exciting activities mountain biking, cycling, ATV riding and off-roading. Not only
was this event aimed to give confidence to the adventure lovers but also support astro-tourism in the region.

The expedition on the very first day crossed through the locales, comprising Daksum, Kokernag, Sinthan Top, and then came back for night stay in Kokernag.

From Kokernag, the expedition will start tomorrow and will head to Achabal, Chatpal, and will come to an end at Verinag. At Verinag, in a concluding ceremony, the Directorate is arranging a cultural night. There
musical events, star gazing, and other entertaining activities will be organized. The selected route assures to display the natural magnificence of South Kashmir.

The Directorate of Kashmir Tourism has shown his sincere admiration to all stakeholders, participants, and committed volunteers connected with the event. Also, in the future, the Directorate is planning for innovative events like the South Kashmir Adventure.
