This season, the re-imagined Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler has taken winter wonderland to a whole new level. Surrounded by the beauty of the Canadian wilderness, the intimate mountain lodge is a winter playground for guests of every age.

Festive Wintertide Dining

A contemporary play on the mountainside tavern, Braidwood is a vibrant, welcoming space, evoking the warmth of a favourite uncle’s cabin. The Resort’s cabin-inspired restaurant and bar space presents two brand-new menus to kick-off celebrations.

The Roadtrip Through the Alps menu takes diners on a trip through the alpine cuisine of Europe, starting with a first course in France, off to Italy for traditional charcuterie board, a taste of Switzerland with a tender brasato manzo and gruyere polenta, and finishing it off in Austria with a classic Linzer torte. Each course is also paired with a wine from the region, hand-selected by the sommelier. Classically chic, the menu is a nostalgic nod to the vintage glamour of the après-ski culture of the Alps.

Looking for an indulgent après cocktail? Warm-up to the Hot Chocolates Around the World at Braidwood. A selection of playful Instagram-ready spiked hot chocolates inspired by places from the North Pole to Japan. Featuring top-shelf spirits by Beam Suntory and the best-quality chocolate, each cosy cup transports guests to exotic locales, all from the comfort of the Tavern.

Over the festive holidays, Four Seasons Resort Whistler has put together a unique offering holiday-inspired menus that pair traditional favourites alongside new dishes at SIDECUT and Braidwood Tavern. Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas Day dinner and buffet, as well as New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day celebratory menus are each a perfect opportunity to gather with loved ones and toast to fresh beginnings.

Real-Life Wonderland

Throughout the property picture-perfect moments to spend with loved ones. Re-group with the whole crew after a day on the mountains or adventuring at the daily complimentary wine tasting, featuring sommelier-selected varietals from British Columbia. Gather around the Vintage Camper to roast s’mores and kick-back with a warm drink or refreshing beverage, and a classic Canadian winter bonfire.

Transforming into a magical wonderland over the holidays, the Resort offers family activities designed to delight and amaze little ones (and even the hard-to-please teens). The Hogwarts-esque Library at the lodge hosts a movie night each evening. Leave cellphones off and ask the Concierge for a list of complimentary board games or DVDs. And of course, Santa Claus himself will be making an appearance on December 24 and 25 for meet and greets and photos. Moms and dads looking to get some time away may book in-room babysitting services from the hotel.

Book some me-time (or bring a sweetie) and re-charge. The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Whistler offers a full menu of treatments for relaxation including the indulgent Peak to Feet package, a full-body spa experience and massage designed for deep renewal and relaxation. Afterwards, guests can luxuriate in cosy robes and enjoy a comforting cheese or fruit platter.

The team welcomes guests to make the most of winter – whether it’s on the slopes, at the Spa, dining with friends and family, or cosied up fireside with a good book – the perfect après is at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler.
