Dnata Clinches Major Catering Deal with Etihad Airways for U.S. Flights

The Dubai-based air and travel services firm dnata has secured a long-term agreement to provide inflight catering for Abu Dhabi’s flagship carrier, Etihad Airways, across the United States.

From its operation at Boston Logan Airport (BOS), dnata is set to prepare and supply over 125,000 meals annually for the airline, as announced by the Dubai Media Office.

As a component of the Emirates Group, dnata’s expansion in the U.S. now includes service agreements with 40 catering and retail service airlines across 12 American airports, where it served up 1.5 billion meals for 8,000 flights at Boston Airport during the fiscal year 2022-23.

On a worldwide scale, the company is responsible for the creation of 110 million meals for airlines, operating out of 60 different locations each year.
