IHG and Daiwa House Group break ground on a dual-branded EVEN Hotel and Staybridge Suites in Orlando, set to open in 2026 near Epic Universe and top attractions.
IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) has officially started construction on a new dual-branded property featuring EVEN Hotels and Staybridge Suites in Orlando, Florida, in partnership with Daiwa House Group. Set to open in 2026, the EVEN Hotel and Staybridge Suites Orlando Universal Blvd. will be strategically located near the upcoming Universal Epic Universe theme park and the Orange County Convention Center, catering to both business and leisure travelers in one of the most visited cities in the U.S.
The new hotel will feature a total of 288 guest rooms, combining the best of both brands. Staybridge Suites will offer upscale residential-style studios and suites, while EVEN Hotels will focus on wellness amenities and its signature sleep experience. The property will also include over 4,000 square feet of meeting space, ideal for business travelers preparing for conventions. Guests can relax in the hotel’s spacious public areas, outdoor pool, or the EVEN athletic studio. A variety of fresh and nutritious food options will be available, including the EVEN Kitchen & Bar restaurant and The Staybridge Suites Social, a complimentary happy hour event.
In addition to being near the Epic Universe theme park, the hotel will offer easy access to other popular Orlando attractions, along with numerous dining, entertainment, and retail options.

This development marks the latest milestone in IHG’s ongoing collaboration with Daiwa House Group, which aims to expand the Japanese developer’s presence in the U.S. Daiwa House Group previously opened Hotel Indigo Hakone Gora, its first Japanese location, in January 2020, and has recently signed a letter of intent for three more projects in Japan.
The project is being developed in partnership with AC Hotel Developers and designed by the architecture firm Baskervill. It represents another significant addition to IHG’s growing presence in Orlando. In August 2024, IHG announced plans for a Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants property in the Westcourt mixed-use development near the Kia Center arena. Additionally, a luxury InterContinental Hotels & Resorts property is expected to open on International Drive in 2028.
