Between March 25th and 31st, Emirates extends an invitation to its passengers to experience the essence of Sakura during flights from Dubai to Japan. This special event features exclusive desserts, traditional Kaiseki meals, and a selection of Japanese entertainment on their in-flight entertainment system, ice.

Sakura, symbolizing the transient beauty of life with its delicate cherry blossoms, heralds the arrival of spring. Emirates, offering 21 weekly flights to Tokyo, Osaka, and Narita, allows travelers to immerse in this cultural celebration. Those in First and Business Class will enjoy seasonal desserts, including a unique dessert trio of classic, Sakura, and matcha mochi accompanied by yuzu caviar and a green tea anglaise.

Passengers across all cabin classes are invited to savor Kaiseki, an elaborate Japanese dining experience featuring multiple courses, some of which are seasonally inspired. Prepared in Emirates’ dedicated Japanese kitchen, the menu may feature dishes such as kinpira renkon, saba kinuta maki rolls, roasted seabass yuanyaki, and other delicacies, complemented by Japanese Sencha tea and Nanbu Bijin Tokubetsu Junmai sake.

In-flight entertainment, ice, boasts an extensive collection of Japanese media, including films like “Ghostbook” and “Komada – A Whiskey Family,” among others. With over 45 Japanese films, 225 Hollywood movies with Japanese dubbing, and 50 music channels featuring Japanese music, passengers are treated to a rich cultural experience.

Emirates provides daily services to Tokyo-Haneda, Tokyo-Narita, and Osaka, connecting passengers to an additional 24 domestic cities in Japan through its partnership with Japan Airlines. This network offers Japanese travelers and global passengers convenient connections to over 130 destinations worldwide, including popular locations in Italy, Spain, the US, France, and the UK.
