On March 24 and 25, Emirates is set to mark the vibrant Holi festival, offering passengers on selected flights to India festive greetings along with Thandai, a refreshing drink, and delightful Holi sweets.

Passengers flying with Emirates to seven Indian cities – Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Mumbai – will be treated to the beloved Indian delicacy Kesar Gujiya. This sweet, a deep-fried dumpling filled with khoya (milk solid) and nuts, will accompany meals served during breakfast, lunch, or dinner in a box that echoes the festivity of Holi. Those in First and Business Class will be greeted with chilled Thandai, a celebratory concoction of milk and nuts, enhanced with the aromas of saffron and rose petals.

Emirates’ in-flight entertainment, the ice digital widescreen, offers a vast selection of Bollywood cinema, featuring over 260 Indian films, including latest releases, timeless Bollywood classics, and regional movies. Highlights include popular films such as “Pathaan,” “The Great Indian Family,” and “Gaslight,” along with a special Yash Raj Films collection, celebrating the legacy of Bollywood’s “father of romance.” In addition, passengers can explore over 30 Indian music albums and playlists, including a special Holi-themed music video compilation, “Holi Hai!”

This celebration of Holi by Emirates reflects the airline’s long-standing relationship with India, a bond that has flourished over 37 years, rooted in shared history and cultural connections. With 170 weekly flights to nine Indian destinations, Emirates plays a pivotal role in linking millions of travelers to India from Dubai and beyond through its extensive global network.
