Emirates Elevates Osaka Service with Premium Economy A380 Debut on June 1, 2024″

Emirates is set to enhance its Osaka service with the debut of its A380 aircraft, featuring Premium Economy, starting from June 1, 2024. The upgraded aircraft, the second of its kind in Japan, will offer increased seat capacity and introduce the highly anticipated Premium Economy Class alongside refreshed interiors across all cabins.

The A380 will replace the current Boeing 777-300ER on the EK316/EK317 route to and from Osaka’s Kansai International Airport (KIX), providing an additional 910 seats weekly between Dubai and Osaka. Passengers will enjoy enhanced connectivity to popular destinations such as Milan, Madrid, Brazil, Paris, and London.

Emirates’ four-class A380 will feature 14 First Class suites, 76 lie-flat Business Class seats, 56 Premium Economy seats, and 338 Economy Class seats. Premium Economy, situated at the front of the main deck, offers a spacious 2-4-2 configuration, with ample legroom, in-seat charging points, and personalized amenities.

The airline’s renowned hospitality extends to all passengers, with access to onboard lounges for Business and First Class, and exclusive shower spa facilities for First Class. Emirates’ signature “ice” in-flight entertainment, offering up to 6,500 channels, ensures a memorable travel experience.

Emirates launched its Premium Economy product on the Dubai-Narita route in December 2023, receiving positive feedback from passengers. Currently available on flights to 14 destinations globally, including New York JFK, Los Angeles, and London Heathrow, the service continues to attract travelers seeking enhanced comfort and convenience.

With Japan anticipating increased tourism, particularly in the Kansai region, Emirates’ A380 operations to KIX coincide with the Osaka-Kansai Expo scheduled for 2025. The airline also operates daily services to Tokyo Narita and Tokyo Haneda, providing convenient air connectivity to meet growing demand.

In commitment to customer satisfaction, Emirates resumed its Chauffeur-drive service for First and Business Class customers in Tokyo Haneda, and introduced complimentary shuttle buses for Economy Class passengers to major train stations, ensuring a seamless travel experience for all.
