We thank the Cambodian and Singaporean authorities for their support in establishing this new route. We look forward to re-introducing our customers to yet another vibrant destination on our network as they explore the world.”

A major hub in Southeast Asia

Phnom Penh, situated in the heart of Cambodia’s south-central area, stands as the cornerstone of the country’s economic, industrial, and cultural advancements. Over the years, it has witnessed a remarkable evolution in both its infrastructure and economic landscape, establishing itself as a key destination for tourism and trade within Southeast Asia. The city’s allure extends globally, drawing visitors from Europe and the Americas. In anticipation of further enhancing its global connectivity, Phnom Penh is in the process of constructing a new international airport, set to commence operations in 2025, which will take over from the existing Phnom Penh International Airport.

Renowned for its rich cultural heritage and attractions, Phnom Penh offers an array of sites such as the Royal Palace with its Silver Pagoda, and the National Museum. Additionally, Emirates’ daily flights to Phnom Penh and its agreement with Cambodia Air pave the way for easy access to the globally acclaimed Angkor Wat temple complex near Siem Reap, promising an enriched travel experience for visitors.
