Environmental conference hosted by the Yacht Club de Monaco

‘A Day of Exploration’ is title of the environmental conference hosted by the Yacht Club de Monaco in association with The Explorers Club of New York. This conference happened under the guidance of its ‘Monaco Capital of Advanced Yachting’ attitude and inclusive of Monaco Ocean Week, planned by the Prince Albert II Foundation and the government of Monaco, in association with the Monaco Oceanographic Institute and Scientific Center of Monaco. 

Assistances from numerous well-known researchers and explorers like Nina Lanza, Victor Vescovo, Kathryn Sullivan, Bertrand Piccard and Mike Horn among others were the highpoint of the day. The conference was graced by the Prince of Monaco Albert II. He said that the practice of exploration is so intensely ingrained in the antiquity of their principality and inherited from his great-grandfather, Prince Albert the 1st, reminds them of the crucial necessity to defend their marine atmosphere and give it the reverence and dedication it permits. 

A multidisciplinary, specialized society devoted toward the development of field study, logical exploration and resource preservation, the Explorers Club has its the headquarter in New York City with a community of divisions all over the world. The Explorers Club is a principal exploration society globally. It was established in 1904.
