Ethiopian Airlines Group, Ethiopia’s national airline, is delighted to share the news of receiving the esteemed ‘Ethiopian Institutional Achievement Award’ from the Federal Government of Ethiopia today. This accolade was presented by Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed to Ethiopian Group CEO, Mr. Mesfin Tasew, in recognition of the airline’s exceptional contributions.
During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ethiopian Airlines played a critical role in maintaining essential global air links and was a key player in distributing vital medical supplies and vaccines around the world. The airline’s ability to swiftly adapt to changing conditions, alongside its efforts in modernizing its fleet, achieving rapid growth, and enhancing its internal capabilities, were pivotal factors in earning this award.
