Etihad increases flight services from Abu Dhabi-Rome

Residents of Abu Dhabi, known for their penchant for European vacations, appear to have a unified preference for journeying to Rome, reflecting a significant demand for air travel to the Italian capital. In response to this growing interest, Etihad Airways has ramped up its flight offerings to Rome, elevating the frequency from 11 to a total of 14 round trips weekly between Abu Dhabi and Rome. This expansion means Etihad will now provide close to 10,000 seats each week on this route, catering to the high demand.

For those planning to make the trip from Abu Dhabi to Rome, Etihad Airways has set competitive pricing, with Economy class round-trip tickets commencing at Dhs800, available directly through their official website. For passengers seeking a more luxurious experience, Business class fares start at Dhs 15,450.

The inauguration of these additional flights is scheduled for November 1, 2024, marking a significant enhancement in the connectivity and accessibility between the two cities. This increase in flights, coupled with strategic pricing and flight schedules, is poised to make Italy an even more attractive and accessible destination for Abu Dhabi residents, including those on a layover in the UAE capital.

Commencing November 1, Etihad will operate two daily departures from Abu Dhabi, scheduled for 2:25 am and 2:40 pm. Correspondingly, flights departing from Rome back to Abu Dhabi are slated for 9:20 am and 9:35 pm. Travelers will have the opportunity to fly aboard either the Boeing 777-300 or the Boeing 787-9, depending on the departure time selected. This strategic expansion and scheduling are tailored to meet the diverse needs and preferences of travelers, ensuring a convenient and comfortable journey to one of Europe’s most sought-after destinations.
