Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon unveils an exciting lineup for summer, promising a blend of local charm and international flair to delight both guests and Lisbon residents alike.

June: Celebrate Santos Populares

As summer kicks off, Lisbon bursts into vibrant Santos Populares festivities. Colorful paper decorations adorn the streets, while music fills the air, complemented by the aroma of grilled sardines and the refreshing taste of vinho verde. The highlight is June 12, St. Anthony’s Day, marked by lively parades and city-wide revelry. Embracing this spirit, the Ritz Pool Bar introduces a special petiscos menu, offering guests a taste of traditional street food with a sophisticated twist. “Our petiscos happy hour at the Hotel is a perfect prelude to the downtown celebrations,” says Guilherme Costa, the Hotel’s General Manager.

Featured on the menu are delicacies like roasted sardines with grilled peppers and Josper-charred padron peppers, paired with wines like Soalheiro Alvarinho or Mob Moreira, Olazabal Borges, priced at EUR 29 per petisco with a glass of wine. Available daily from June 1, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Ritz Pool Bar.

For Football Enthusiasts

From June 14 to July 14, 2024, sports enthusiasts can catch European Cup matches at the Ritz Bar, complemented by a special football fan menu. Highlights include the Club sandwich, the Black Angus Ritz Burger, and Portugal’s beloved prego in bolo do caco (steak sandwich in traditional bread), alongside a trilogy of Portuguese finger foods: shrimp rissoles, cod quenelles, and vegetarian samosas. The monthly cocktails, like the Martini Play in June and Tequila Striker in July, add a festive touch.

July and August: Outdoor Cinema

As summer progresses, the Hotel introduces enchanting outdoor cinema nights in collaboration with Cine Society, promising magical evenings under the stars. Guests can enjoy smash burgers, shrimp baos, vegetarian options, and popcorn on the terrace overlooking Parque Eduardo VII.

These cinematic experiences start at 9:00 pm, with a welcome drink served from 6:00 pm at the Ritz Pool Bar. Tickets cost EUR 13.90, including individual headphones, at Rua Castilho, 77, Lisbon, near Kabuki restaurant. Parking is recommended at Rua Castilho Park.
