Renewed annually with delightful surprises, the two packages seamlessly blend historical insights with immersive nature experiences, offering travelers the opportunity to indulge in exquisite dining amidst the city’s most picturesque spots.
The “Tulip Tableaux” package presents a cultural voyage commencing with a luxurious limousine journey from the hotel’s historic location to the Tulip Museum. Here, guests delve into the fascinating history of the bulb and its profound impact on Dutch society through a guided tour with a seasoned grower. Subsequently, guests can immerse themselves in the museum’s vibrant show garden, witnessing the flowers in their full technicolor splendor. For a culinary delight, guests may opt for a two-course set meal served either before or after the museum visit at the hotel’s refined Grand Café Krasnapolsky, boasting panoramic views of Dam Square.
For an enchanting fairy-tale romance, couples can indulge in the “Tulip Treasures” package, inclusive of a limousine transfer, a guided museum tour, and a luxurious picnic orchestrated by an Anantara butler amidst a private tulip field. The menu features an array of delicacies, including an Old Dutch cheese sandwich with nutty Beemster and homemade apple syrup, a light lobster salad with artichoke, grapefruit, tomato, and asparagus, Dutch caviar with blini and crème fraîche, and a tulip-inspired dessert crafted with delicate layers of pear, elderberry, yogurt, and spiced Speculaas biscuits.
Furthermore, this spring, Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam will unveil the outcome of its collaboration with local tulip growers.“Last year, we partnered with Tulip Experience Amsterdam to develop the Anantara Tulip, a distinctive variety that embodies the brand’s spirit with its signature sunshine gold hue. The bulbs, planted at this hotel and other Anantara properties in Europe, will soon bloom into a spectacular display of colours,” said Arne Heuwekemeijer “We also look forward to offering our guests the opportunity to take home their own Anantara Tulip bulb in the autumn.”
The “Tulips in Bloom” adventure, spanning 3.5 hours, is available daily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, running from mid-March to mid-May. Prices stand at €599 for two individuals for the Tulip Tableaux package and €1250 for the Tulip Treasures experience.
