“Our new selection is inspired by the bounty of Malaysia, a land blessed by nature. International guests will have the chance to discover the diverse flavours of this destination, while local guests can rediscover their favourite flavours in exciting new forms,” shares Yann Roumanille, Executive Pastry Chef.

Indulge in the vibrant flavors of Malaysia with the latest Sereni-Tea Afternoon Tea at the Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Held in the charming ambiance of The Lounge, this affair combines beloved Western treats with the finest local ingredients.

The standout is Chef Yann’s Chocolate Couture, a decadent blend of cacao cake, buckwheat praline, and chocolate mousse, enriched with the local Buah Keluak. Revered in Peranakan cuisine as the “truffle of the east,” Buah Keluak infuses an earthy, smoky sophistication into each morsel.

Explore more confections like the Jolie Figue Haute, crafted with fig leaf mousse and ginger compote atop a multigrain sable, or The Butterfly, harmonizing Sabah black tea cake with milk chocolate crémeux and bergamot jelly. Savor the innovative twist on traditional treats, including Coconut Scones served with homemade kaya and a tangy mango-passionfruit jam.

The savory selections impress with items like the Coronation Chicken, enhanced with smoked curry aioli, mango powder, and dried floss, and the Keto Egg Salad with avruga caviar, sparked by Sarawak black pepper and garlic chives. Relish the Pulled Beef Brisket, a sumptuous combination of Comté cheese, pickled jalapeño, and watercress.
