FITUR 2020 to focus on business and specialisation

The upcoming edition of FITUR, International Tourism Fair organised by IFEMA and to be held from 22 to 26 January at Feria de Madrid will focus on specialisation, business and professionalization.

 

 

The greatly enhanced B2B meeting programe will have the general meetings agenda, FITUR B2B Match , specialised meetings, incentives, conference and exhibitions, FITUR MICE schedule.

The programs have been effective tool which concentrates on a high business activitu during the professional events at FITUR.Latest edition data revealed that there were a total of 9,150 B2B meetings with professionals from around the world.

On January 23 and 24 the FITUR Match programe will be held and will put the participating companies in contact with a total of 149 professionals and executives of travel agencies and tour operator companies both from the consolidated markets and from the emerging areas.

There is a special presence from the MENA region, the Middle East and North Africa. FITUR has worked in collaboration with ETOA ( European Tourism Assocation and the Latin American Communication Agency on this program as well as through the IFEMA branches and Commercial Offices operating in more than 28 countries.

 

There will 100 representatives of the MICE tourism offer with 120 qualified procurement officers from around the world for the FITUR MICE tourism.  To establish  efficient contacts which will be in alignment with the growth trend that find in Spain is one of the best references.

In the 2019 International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) ranking, Spain holds the third position with 595 international events following the United States (947) and Germany (642).

FITUR CINE/SCREEN TOURISM; FITUR FESTIVALS; FITUR GAY (LGBT); FITUR HEALTH; FITURTECHY, and FITUR KNOW HOW, and the new FITUR TALENT area will focus on people’s talent, skills and professional qualifications. The FiturNext Observatory continues its progess in identifying and choosing good practices to promote tourism with positive impact throughout the world.
